Phd Industrial Doctorate Centre

How does the opportunity to research whilst based with a commercial organisation appeal to you?

How does a stipend of up to £19,500 sound?

Have you heard about the Engineering Doctorate? (EngD)

We have an opportunity for a bright and enthusiastic individual with our EngD programme. You’ll be based primarily with the sponsor company Indestructible (located in Birmingham working in the area of high performance coatings for the aerospace industry), returning to the University to attend events such as scientific and non scientific short courses, meetings, laboratory work.

You’ll need to have a good undergraduate degree (first or upper-second class honours) or a Masters degree in a subject with some physical sciences content. You’ll also need to be a UK resident as the nature of the funding source and project scope dictates that (more information on request).

Contact me for more details and/or a Further Information Pack including guidance on how to apply.
