Scholarship Description: The University of Glasgow’s School of Social and Political Sciences is pleased to announce the availability of ESRC-funded PhD studentships in Politics and International Relations beginning in September 2011. These studentships are offered as part of the new ESRC recognized Scottish Doctoral Training Centre (DTC). These awards will replace previous ESRC funded PhD studentships, including the open competition.
The Scottish DTC in Politics and International Relations will be governed by representatives from the Universities of Edinburgh, Glasgow and St Andrews. Although awards will be shared among the three universities, interested applicants should apply directly to the university where they believe their research interests are best represented in staff research activity. Awards will be determined by the governance committee representing the three universities.

Applications are invited in prescribed proforma from the candidates having M.Sc. botany with special Molecular Biology and Biotechnology with good academic record (First class) for Project Fellow with consolidated pay Rs. 8000/- under UGC project entitled ‘use of ITS nr DNA sequencing technique as a diagnostic tool for authentic identification of medicinal plants’.
